Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic experience in food service
- Ability to understand and follow safety and sanitation instructions
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible shifts
- Ability to complete required training and competencies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or healthcare environment is an advantage
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of patient dietary needs and hospital procedures
Job Duties
- Perform all duties of the food service worker including tray assembly and delivery
- Ensure accuracy of patient trays
- Maintain overall department safety and sanitation
- Assist with cafeteria functions if necessary
- Ensure smooth flow of tray service operations
- Complete established competencies within the designated introductory period
- Perform other related duties as assigned
