Job Requirements
- Authorized to work in the United States
- maintain a permanent residence within Utah with valid Utah residential address within 30 days of start date
- able to lift 30 pounds repetitively
- able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and perform physical tasks during shifts
- able to maintain punctuality and regular attendance
- able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- able to work in a diverse academic and cultural environment
- able to complete a successful criminal background check
Job Qualifications
- Six months of coffee shop or food service experience
- current Utah Food Handler Permit or ability to obtain within 14 days
- available to work at least four shifts Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to operate POS and mobile ordering systems
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Manage daily operations of What’s Bruin coffee shop
- provide excellent customer service with a customer comes first attitude
- take customer orders and process payments using POS registers
- prepare quality beverages and food products according to recipe standards
- adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- maintain clean, sanitized, and organized work and storage areas
- complete opening, closing, and inventory management tasks
