Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barista or in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced coffee shop or airport environment
- Proficient knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, latte art, and coffee-related equipment
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers from diverse backgrounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations is a plus
- A genuine passion for coffee and a desire to deliver an outstanding coffee experience to customers
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and cold brews, ensuring consistent taste and quality
- Take customer orders and provide friendly, efficient, and personalized service
- Operate coffee brewing equipment, grinders, and other barista tools with precision and expertise
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and in good working condition
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the coffee menu, including seasonal specials and promotions
- Engage with customers, offering recommendations, answering questions, and providing information about our coffee offerings
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system accurately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations, including restocking supplies, cleaning, and opening/closing procedures
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe environment for both customers and staff
- Continuously strive to enhance your knowledge and skills in the art of coffee-making
