Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience as a barista or in a customer service role preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • attention to detail in beverage preparation
  • knowledge of coffee and tea brewing techniques
  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • maintain the register and properly handle cash
  • enter tips, place orders accurately, and keep a balanced drawer
  • work closely with other staff to create a steady flow of service
  • communicate any needs and stay close to the register
  • create all of Bottega Louie’s coffees and teas for the market and café
  • abide by Bottega Louie recipe standards, sanitation standards, and maintain speed of service
  • make every drink with care and to the guests’ likings
  • keep a well stocked and organized work station and communicate any needs to utility or a manager
  • keep a clean and well stocked market
  • take out the trash, retrieve products, and restock
  • properly store and rotate macarons
  • assist with filling macaron trays and organizing macaron bins
  • accurately describe all pastries and upsell to guests
  • package all pastries for guests
  • consolidate pastries and stock as needed
