Job Requirements
- Able to stand and walk for entire shift
- able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to work varied shifts including weekends
- effective communication skills in English
- ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- must be able to work in a confined, crowded space with varying noise and temperature levels
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or customer service preferred
- ability to operate coffee making equipment including grinders and espresso machines
- proficiency with point of sale (POS) systems
- excellent communication skills
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Duties
- Accurately take and confirm guest food and beverage orders including special instructions and restrictions
- prepare and serve coffee, espresso, other beverages including component ingredients and serve to guests
- process payments and balance all sales receipts in compliance with restaurant policies and procedures, including reconciling and maintaining the security of the cash drawer
- accurately, promptly, efficiently and safely assemble and transport food and beverage orders to indoor and outdoor guests including guests in vehicles in locations offering drive-thru service
- sell and accurately account for gift cards
- available to work a variety of hours, days and shifts including weekends
- safely and effectively move chairs, tables, highchairs and booster seats
