Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior barista or food service experience preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • availability to work Monday through Friday
  • willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience as a barista or in a similar food service role preferred
  • knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong organizational skills
  • basic understanding of health and safety standards in food service

Job Duties

  • maintain appropriate amounts of product to include coffees, syrups, teas, fruits, vegetables, juices, yogurts and condiments to be used in the making of beverages
  • ensure that the coffee bar is kept clean and safe via supervisor instruction and applicable health, safety and food handling regulations
  • clean and maintain all equipment at station to include coffee maker, espresso/cappuccino machine, juicer, spoons, spatulas and brushes on a scheduled basis
  • prepare quality coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages consistently for all customers
  • organize and stock supplies, manage inventory and order products for the coffee station
  • provide exceptional customer service in a courteous, helpful and friendly manner
