Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-6 months of related cafe or barista experience preferred
  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems a plus
  • Successful completion of a background check prior to employment

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and provide information about available food, beverages, merchandise, and hotel amenities
  • Prepare specialty coffee drinks following established recipes and operate coffee shop equipment safely and correctly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the coffee shop, including equipment, displays, and floors, according to SOPs
  • Restock and refresh merchandise and food displays to ensure an inviting presentation
  • Open and close the coffee shop on time, following proper setup and closing procedures
  • Process all sales through the Micros system, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to accounting procedures
  • Monitor inventory levels, communicate restocking needs, and assist management with ordering
  • Secure all cash and deposits per hotel and company policies
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
