Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage or customer service preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic math skills
- Experience with cash handling and making change
- Familiarity with point of sale (POS) systems preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Dependability and punctuality
Job Duties
- Greet every guest with a smile and positive attitude
- Take orders from guests and prepare orders when applicable
- Handle cash, credit, and comp procedures correctly and complete paperwork
- Utilize proper procedures and documentation for transactions
- Ensure bank is counted and balanced with cage
- Complete cash turn-in sheets and distribute appropriately
- Possess complete knowledge of all procedures related to the job
- Ensure all guests are treated in prompt, professional, and courteous manner
- Know the menu items and prices
- Prepare a variety of drinks as a knowledgeable barista in a fast-paced environment
- Operate the Micros system to properly ring up and close out checks
- Uphold standards by setting examples with appearance and work ethic
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
- Maintain constant awareness of safety and accident prevention and report accidents promptly
- Perform other duties specified or assigned
- Comply with all departmental rules, side work assignments, and procedures
