Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a coffee shop or café environment preferred
- Ability to operate POS systems accurately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Attention to detail and adherence to food safety standards
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

- Previous barista experience or background in coffee service
- Experience working with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Strong skills in sales, cash handling, and retail math
- Proven ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and balancing registers
Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks and light food items following recipes and food safety standards
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS operations with accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area including food preparation stations and seating
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and resolving concerns promptly
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing quality or safety
- Follow food handling guidelines and safety protocols to ensure health regulation compliance
