Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Barista experience preferred
- Minimum one year restaurant, senior living or equivalent cooking experience preferred
- Availability to work Tuesday to Saturday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
- Ability to operate convection oven, panini press and coffee machine
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must comply with health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Barista experience preferred
- Minimum of one year restaurant, senior living or equivalent cooking experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and operational organization at all times
- Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards consistently
- Provide friendly, quick and meaningful service to residents
- Build relationships with residents that promote hospitality promises
- Exhibit cooking standards of speed, accuracy and efficiency using convection oven, panini press and coffee machine
- Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production to ensure the cafe is ready for service
- Assist with serving of meals and ware washing as necessary
- Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner to create a positive marketing environment
- Support creating a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive top-line revenue and occupancy
