Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum of one year restaurant, senior living, or equivalent cooking experience preferred
- Ability to work Tuesday to Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to assist in various cafe duties as needed
- Must adhere to food safety guidelines and cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Barista experience preferred
- Minimum of one year restaurant, senior living, or equivalent cooking experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Customer service orientation with a focus on hospitality
Job Duties
- Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and operational organization at all times
- Adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards consistently
- Provide friendly, quick, and meaningful service to residents
- Build relationships with residents that promote hospitality promises
- Exhibit cooking standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency using convection oven, panini press, and coffee machine
- Demonstrate knowledge in cooking preparation and production to ensure cafe readiness
- Assist with serving of meals and ware washing as necessary
- Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner, creating a positive marketing environment
- Support creating a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive top-line revenue and occupancy
