The Barista Bar & Hospitality Manager position is a pivotal role within a dynamic and customer-focused hospitality establishment committed to delivering superior service and an exceptional guest experience. This position encompasses comprehensive oversight of all front-of-house operations. Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in cafe, bar, or hospitality management
- Strong knowledge of specialty coffee
- Experience managing teams of 8-20 employees
- Understanding of beer and wine service regulations including ABC compliance
- Ability to lead during busy service periods
- Excellent organizational skills
- Clear and calm communication under pressure
- Commitment to upholding brand values and guest experience standards

Job Duties
- Lead daily floor operations
- Ensure smooth service during peak periods
- Oversee bar flow, order accuracy, and speed of service
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards
- Manage opening and closing procedures
- Ensure consistent and excellent espresso extraction and drink standards
- Train baristas on recipes, dialing-in, and workflow
- Maintain equipment care and maintenance routines
- Oversee beer and wine service and compliance
- Ensure proper ID checks and ABC compliance
- Hire, train, and schedule front-of-house staff
- Set tone for hospitality and professionalism
- Coach team members in real-time on service and communication
- Create an accountable, no-drama, high-standard culture
- Partner closely with Kitchen Manager for coordinated service
- Model proactive, warm hospitality
- Resolve guest issues calmly and professionally
- Maintain a neighborhood-oriented, welcoming environment
- Protect the Hardware brand voice and experience
- Manage labor scheduling to budget
- Support daily cash handling and POS accuracy
- Monitor beverage costs and shrink
- Coordinate ordering for retail beverages and wine/beer
- Maintain ABC compliance for beer and wine service
- Ensure food handler certification for staff
- Maintain safe and organized work environment
- Prepare for health and safety inspections
