Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience
- Ability to complete Barista certification training scoring at least 90%
- Willingness to work varied hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to follow cash handling procedures
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Clear communication skills

- Previous customer service experience
- Complete training and obtain Barista certification with a score of 90%
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to learn and comply with cash register system and procedures
- Ability to adjust to the needs of the department

- Ability to communicate with a wide variety of people including employees, nursing staff, managers, and hospital staff
Job Duties
- Prepares a variety of customer beverage orders such as espresso drinks and coffee to Starbucks standards
- Prepares all beverages to standard and hands out quality drinks every time
- Follows policies and procedures for operational flow at each station
- Follows established safety standards using safe food handling guidelines
- Maintains a clean work area and immediate surrounding area
- Follows inventory stocking and recording guidelines
- Presents oneself professionally and demonstrates clear communication by using Star Skills with all customer and partner interactions
- Follows cash handling and register procedures
- Follows Customer Service Standards with upgraded language such as my pleasure, yes Ma'am/sir, genuine smile and eye contact
- Follows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing all products
- Performs equipment maintenance in accordance with preventative maintenance checklist
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policies, procedures, training and team involvement activities
- Performs other related duties as assigned
