Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of their scheduled shift
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds with frequent carrying of smaller items
- Must be able to bend, reach, crouch, and kneel frequently
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment without losing focus or energy
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of espresso and coffee experience in a bakery or café
- Preferred 2 years of espresso and coffee experience in a bakery or café
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling procedures
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas to brand standards
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and provide friendly customer service
- Operate POS systems and process payments
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked service, beverage, and display areas
- Communicate with kitchen and bakery teams regarding orders, inventory, and product availability
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with ordering and receiving deliveries
