Job Requirements
- part-time availability up to 24 hours per week
- required to work one weekend shift per week
- flexible availability on Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday between 7am and 6:30pm
- physical ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds frequently
- ability to stand for prolonged periods
- ability to walk short distances regularly
- ability to work in cold environments such as coolers and freezers
- must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- must be 18 years or older
- previous experience in a cafe or food service role preferred
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- good communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- provide exceptional customer service to all
- prepare food and drink in the following stations: espresso, smoothie, and fresh juice
- prep food for, maintain and face the Grab & Go Case
- stock and maintain the coffee station, soup station & bakery case
- prep various food items, peel and slice vegetables, slice meats and cheeses
- responsible for the overall cleanliness of the cafe including trash, recycling, and eating areas
- upkeep of sanitary practices and quality control including the cleaning of all stations, tables, counters, utensils, oven, floors, and trash
- adheres to established KWF SOPs for opening and closing Cafe
- working in collaboration with the Cafe Department Head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department
