Job Requirements

  • Applicant must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous cash handling experience a plus
  • ability to communicate effectively with others
  • must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • previous food and beverage experience preferred
  • must have basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues
  • ability to work a flexible shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as business needs dictate

Job Qualifications

  • ability to work a flexible shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as business needs dictate

Job Duties

  • Provides excellent guest service while making quality, hand-crafted beverages
  • responsible for educating guests about our premium coffees, teas, gelatos, and menu items
  • prepares and sells coffee drinks, such as espresso, cafe latte, and cappuccino, by following recipes and preparation techniques
  • operates electronic cash register system to accurately and immediately account for transaction payments
  • delivers guest orders
  • ensures guest satisfaction through food quality checks and responds to guest complaints
  • maintains equipment by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and performing cleaning and preventive maintenance
  • ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases, shelves, and displays clean and well stocked
  • maintains a clean and welcoming dining room with attention to detail, sanitation, and safety
  • performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned
  • maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters
