Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year experience as a barista on a manual espresso machine
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
- Basic understanding of point-of-sale systems
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- At least one full year of barista experience on a manual machine
- Latte art experience is a significant plus
- Commitment to creating memorable and amazing guest experiences
- Ability to follow standards including steps of service, food safety, and sanitation
- Knowledge of menu items and providing hospitable and accurate service
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to turn difficult situations into positive outcomes
- Familiarity with technologies including POS Toast, Open Table, and Hot Schedules
- Flexible schedule and open availability
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve coffee and espresso beverages accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines rigorously
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and beverage preparation standards
- Operate and maintain manual espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment
- Address customer concerns promptly and turn difficult situations into positive experiences
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient workflow during busy periods
