Job Requirements
- One year of food service experience
- Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of hire
- Servsafe Certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work early morning and late evening shifts
- Flexibility to work PRN (Per Diem or As Needed) schedule
- Ability to maintain hygiene and sanitation standards
- Good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year of food service experience
- Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of hire
- Servsafe Certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to maintain excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Basic cash handling and register operation skills
Job Duties
- Interacting daily with patients, families, visitors, and staff
- Participating and supporting all aspects of healthcare food service operations
- Preparing and serving meals in accordance with established menus and dietary guidelines
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare foodservice industry standards, regulations, and guidelines
- Operating a coffee shop or retail food area and handling cash register operations
- Assembling, delivering, and retrieving patient trays
- Cleaning equipment and maintaining sanitation and cleanliness standards
- Stocking food and supply items and assisting with inventory checks
- Supporting catering services including food delivery and pick-up
