Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a customer service or barista role preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow recipes and quality standards precisely
- Uphold health, safety, and sanitation regulations consistently
Job Qualifications
- Ability to inform guests about additional items and use suggestive selling techniques
- Experience serving food and beverage items in correct proportions
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Experience assisting in opening or closing of a location
- Ability to perform clean-up duties including cleaning equipment
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Follow recipe portion sizes and quality standards
- Ensure proper baking temperatures are maintained and food is stored correctly
- Perform opening, closing, and side work duties according to proper guidelines
- Keep workstation and equipment clean, organized, and sufficiently stocked
- Inform guests about additional items and use suggestive selling techniques
- Serve food and beverage items in correct proportions, following all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Record all transactions via the point-of-sale system and maintain accurate cash count and balance banks at end of shift
