Job Requirements

Must be able to lift 50 pounds
standing or walking for 6 to 8 hours in an 8-hour workday
hand use including grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
able to work in temperatures ranging from below freezing to above 90 degrees Fahrenheit
ability to work in wet and dry conditions
ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
ability to safely use knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
may require use of ladders

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
good understanding of food production and fundamental cooking techniques
ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness
strong communication skills
ability to work effectively in a team environment
ability to follow directions and procedures
effective time management and organizational skills

ability to deliver clear and respectful communication
proactive selling skills
willingness to learn and participate in trainings

Job Duties

Weighs, prices, and packages customer orders
understands venue menus, stays abreast of specials and menu changes
follows cash handling procedures related to service venues
monitors product quality and freshness, ensures proper product rotation
completes product spoilage and transfer records as needed
arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work
provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs in a timely manner, models suggestive selling techniques
maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising
complies with health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices
maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
immediately reports safety hazards and violations
