Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1 to 2 years' experience preferred
  • Food handlers card required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Good communication skills
  • Commitment to health and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Greet all customers promptly and courteously
  • Serve foods from the serving line according to portion and appearance standard
  • Carve portions of meat for individual service
  • Cut, plate and garnish dessert items for service
  • Set up serving area
  • Replace supplies of self-service food items throughout service
  • Stock service area with beverages, food items, condiments and service ware
  • Operate cash register to receive payment for food and beverage items
  • Clean and maintain serving area, equipment and serving counters
  • Remove food at end of meal service and store appropriately
  • Document required food item tracking, temperature monitoring log, or waste log track protocols
