Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in a barista or similar role preferred
- Tips Card required
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English proficiently
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Compliance with all safety and health regulations
- Must maintain consistent attendance as per company standards
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- Previous barista experience preferred
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of food service regulations
- Ability to maintain positive client relationships
- Proficient in English with ability to speak other languages helpful
- Excellent conflict-resolution skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks
Job Duties
- Follow standard coffee recipes and special customer requests
- Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service
- Enter orders into POS system and serve courses from kitchen and bar
- Observe guests to fulfill additional requests and know when meal is completed
- Clear and reset counters and tables after each patron
- Clean dishes and restaurant area as needed
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Adhere to safety and brand standards
- Respond to guest requests and complaints in a timely and friendly manner
- Maintain professional image at all times
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Operate in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
