Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous experience in a barista or similar role preferred
  • Tips Card required
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English proficiently
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Willingness to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Compliance with all safety and health regulations
  • Must maintain consistent attendance as per company standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED preferred
  • Previous barista experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of food service regulations
  • Ability to maintain positive client relationships
  • Proficient in English with ability to speak other languages helpful
  • Excellent conflict-resolution skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks

Job Duties

  • Follow standard coffee recipes and special customer requests
  • Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service
  • Enter orders into POS system and serve courses from kitchen and bar
  • Observe guests to fulfill additional requests and know when meal is completed
  • Clear and reset counters and tables after each patron
  • Clean dishes and restaurant area as needed
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • Adhere to safety and brand standards
  • Respond to guest requests and complaints in a timely and friendly manner
  • Maintain professional image at all times
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Operate in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
