The role of Barista at Blackberry Market is central to our mission of delivering exceptional service and quality. As a Barista, you will be responsible for greeting and caring for all guests with a warm and welcoming presence, demonstrating a confident knowledge of our menu to answer customer questions about ingredients. Your attention to detail will be critical as you take orders, paying close attention to customer preferences such as coffee blend and dairy choices. Crafting hand-tamped Intelligentsia coffee drinks will be a daily task, along with serving beverages and freshly prepared food offerings like cookies, pastries, and muffins.

In addition to these duties, you will handle payments via cash and credit card, maintain cleanliness in the bar area, and ensure that stock of clean mugs and plates is always available. Checking brewing equipment for proper operation and promptly reporting any maintenance needs is essential to maintaining our high standards. Compliance with health and safety regulations is mandatory to ensure a safe and inviting environment for both staff and guests. Furthermore, you will play an important role in communicating customer feedback to management and contributing ideas for new menu items. This full-time position requires flexible weekend availability and offers competitive compensation commensurate with experience, pooled tips, flexible schedules, and guaranteed hours. Part-time opportunities are also available, with hourly pay ranging from $15.00 to $17.00.
