- must be able to work standing for long periods of time
- passionate for great coffee, food, and great customer service
- must be able to multitask
- must be able to create latte art within the training period
- must be able to dial-in espresso as needed
- has basic knife skills to prep garnishes
- at least 1 year of experience in specialty coffee is ideal
- valid food handlers certification

Job Duties
- understands the GAB mission statement and can execute
- welcomes guests using the 10-4 rule
- adheres to dress code standards
- educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu
- prepares and sells beverages by following prescribed recipes, preparation techniques and standards
- notifies lead barista of low inventory
- fully stocks and maintains products using FIFO to ensure product freshness
- follows and improves opening, closing, and other procedural checklists
- keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions
- recognizes, acknowledges, and communicates errors and potential quality problems
- maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
- updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- enhances coffee shop reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
- explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- knowledge of FOH menus including bar, food, bakery
- knows how to work all FOH stations
- is flexible in scheduling in FOH
- helps out in FOH if needed
