Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or barista role preferred
- Knowledge of coffee brewing and espresso machine operation required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Ability to handle cash and operate POS system
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operation
- Familiarity with retail math and cash handling procedures
- Strong math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating orders
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Physical stamina to withstand full shift on feet
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
- Experience using a point-of-sale system is a plus
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages
- Assist with front of house duties including doughnut orders and cash register operation as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and inventory management
- Maintain approved Parlor playlist music at appropriate volume
- Provide product recommendations to customers based on their preferences
