Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar hospitality role preferred
- Formal barista training is a plus
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate coffee machines and related equipment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and payments
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic
- Ability to manage multiple orders in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry items such as coffee bean bags and milk cartons
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
- Team-oriented mindset with ability to collaborate with other hotel staff and departments

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and cold brews according to standardized recipes
- Serve teas, juices, and other non-alcoholic beverages
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, take orders, and handle guest requests efficiently
- Provide information about the menu, including beverage options and allergens
- Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station including counters and seating areas
- Stock supplies including coffee beans, milk, syrups, and disposable items
- Follow health and safety guidelines and food safety regulations
- Conduct equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Process guest transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and room charges securely
- Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts
- Work collaboratively with food and beverage staff and hotel departments
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Share product knowledge about coffee beans, origins, and recipes with guests
- Continuously improve skills through training and self-study
- Follow company policies on service standards, attendance, dress code, and conduct
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
