Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of food service experience
- one year of barista experience
- valid King County Food Handler’s Permit
- basic computer skills with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- strong communication skills including listening and adaptability
- ability to work independently and collaborate in diverse environments
- commitment to professional growth and best practices
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- ability to perform under stress in a fast-paced environment
- flexibility to work non-standard hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent, one year of food service experience, and one year of barista experience
- valid King County Food Handler’s Permit
- basic proficiency in computer skills including ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

Job Duties
- Welcome customers, answer questions, and take orders for beverages and food
- accurately ring in orders on POS system and write on cups or bags
- prepare foods such as sandwiches or baked items, brewed coffee and tea, espresso-based beverages, and serve items to customers
- clean and restock work and dining areas, empty trash, and sanitize equipment and utensils
- learn about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality
- update signage and displays to attract customers
- take inventory and replenish items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter
- adhere to all food safety regulations and quality control
- provide on-the-job barista training and support for students
- perform other duties as assigned
