Job Requirements
- At least six months of related on-the-job training or experience
- Ability to work in areas containing dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds and air quality
- Regular and punctual attendance is required
Job Qualifications
- Excellent guest service and communication skills
- Demonstrated money-handling and math skills
- Demonstrated ability to operate computerized cash register
- Ability to be physically mobile and stand/walk for 8 to 12-hour shifts
- Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Job Duties
- Determine guest needs and suggest products to enhance service and meet sales goals
- Assists customers in the selection and purchase of specialty coffee beverages, whole bean, pastry and retail purchases
- Prepare a variety of beverage orders according to established recipes and outlet standards
- Operate electronic cash register system to accurately and immediately account for payment transactions and transports monies to and from the main credit cage
- Ensure outlet is setup, maintained and stocked according to established standards
- Uses and maintains all assigned areas and equipment in a sanitary, safe and effective manner
- Perform all job functions in conjunction with the guidelines described in the Standard Operating Procedures manual to ensure consistent execution of company and department standards
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
