Job Requirements

ability to stand for extended periods
ability to lift up to 30 lbs such as boxes of supplies and bags of coffee beans
regular bending, reaching, and moving throughout the workspace
willingness to work shift-based schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

excellent customer service and communication skills
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
basic math and cash-handling skills
previous barista or customer-facing experience of at least 2 years
knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso preparation

Job Duties

greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections
provide friendly, accurate, and efficient service at the register and beverage counter
answer questions about ingredients, dietary options, and promotions
prepare espresso drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and blended beverages according to recipes and quality standards
operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other café equipment safely
prepare and serve pastries or light food items as needed
maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and dining space
restock supplies include cups, lids, coffee beans, syrups, and condiments
follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
assist with opening and closing duties
process orders and payments accurately using POS systems
handle cash, credit, and mobile payments responsibly
collaborate with team members to manage busy periods efficiently
communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and great service
