Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
ability to work varying shifts with open availability preferred
strong customer service skills
ability to operate cash registers accurately
basic knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation preferred
ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
punctuality and reliability
willingness to learn and be adaptable

no previous work experience required but preferred
Starbucks Barista certification may be required at some locations

Job Duties

Greet customers
take orders
mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, cafe latte, tea, chai, and fruit blend drinks
record all sales
collect cash, credit card, and electronic payments
operate a cash register
clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, restrooms, and preparation areas
attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
perform other duties as assigned depending on business needs and client requirements
