Navy MWR Starbucks is a part of the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) program that provides quality food and beverage services to Navy personnel, their families, and authorized patrons. Job Requirements
- Males must be registered or exempt from Selective Service
- selectee must be determined suitable for federal employment
- selectee may be required to successfully complete a probationary period
- selectee is required to participate in the direct deposit pay program
- social Security Card is required
- satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-VERIFY) check
- must have a favorable background check
- comply with REAL ID or passport requirement for access to Government Facilities
- able to perform duties of the position as described
- demonstrate specialized experience related to food handling and customer service
Job Qualifications
- Understanding of basic food handling techniques
- ability to follow oral instructions and perform routine manual tasks involving few steps
- use judgment in sequencing tasks and concentrate on uniform individual portions
- understanding of personal hygiene standards and food handling techniques
- knowledge of basic arithmetic and cash handling
- working knowledge of how to operate and clean coffee machines
- ability to follow and relay instructions
- exercise tact, good manners and courtesy when serving and assisting customers and employees

- prepare quality beverages and products promptly
- maintain a clean and comfortable store environment
