Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
Basic math skills required to handle cash transactions
Open availability preferred to cover varying shifts
Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
Must be punctual and reliable
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

No previous work experience required but preferred
Starbucks Barista certification may be required at some locations

Job Duties

Greet customers, take orders, mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks
Record all sales, collect cash, credit card, electronic payments and operate a cash register
Clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, restrooms and preparation areas
Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
