Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • one year of retail or related experience preferred
  • good verbal communication skills
  • ability to interact politely and effectively with customers
  • good customer service skills
  • organizational skills
  • detail-oriented
  • basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently
  • willingness to work in varied temperature environments and be exposed to outside weather conditions

Job Duties

  • Prepare coffee shop beverages
  • prepare food items according to procedures
  • ensure food and beverages are handled safely and work environment is clean
  • operate cash register to itemize purchases and process payments
  • stock items and rotate coffee products and merchandise
  • maintain understanding of store programs and product locations
  • notify department lead or manager for orders
  • comply with company policies on security, cash handling, and product management
  • maintain cleanliness and stock levels
  • communicate company programs, specials, and coupons to customers
  • follow PPE and safety guidelines
  • follow food safety and cleaning standards
  • follow guest experience guidelines
  • perform tasks in other departments as assigned
  • additional responsibilities as needed
