Job Requirements

Ability to lift up to 20-50 pounds occasionally
Ability to lift 10-25 pounds frequently
Ability to lift 10 pounds constantly
Ability to stand for extended periods
Must be capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to use personal protective equipment as required
Adherence to safety guidelines related to cleaning chemicals, heat sources, electrical sources, and sharp objects
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance, with equipment or team lifting for heavier items

Job Qualifications

High school education or equivalent
Ability to effectively communicate with all retail customers and associates
Basic math skills
ServSafe certification within six months of hire
Experience in customer service or food service roles preferred
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

Job Duties

Produce Starbucks coffee program and set up for the day
Attend to customers needs and ring up sales
Ensure all beverages comply with Starbucks branded program recipes and standards
Restock condiment and beverage areas
Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, equipment, counters, storerooms, and beverage areas
Restock paper supplies, cups, condiments, napkins, and plastic service ware
Place leftover pastries in individual bags with twist ties
Replenish POS impulse items and check product expiration dates
Count closing bank and deposit with Supervisor Barista
Adhere to cash policies and prepare cash drawer for next day
Perform cleaning tasks and maintain production records including temperatures and counts
Ensure products are properly labeled and dated
Dust ledges and shelves to maintain quality presentation
