Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods
Willingness to learn and be trained in coffee making and customer service
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude

Job Qualifications

Barista experience is preferred but not required
Outgoing and engaging personality
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team environment
Ability to communicate effectively through various channels including email, phone, and project management software

Job Duties

Present a positive image of PJ's to customers and coworkers
Proactively suggest new beverages, drink enhancements, snacks, and pastries to improve the overall customer experience and knowledge
Prepare all beverages and food to meet PJ's Coffee specifications and customer satisfaction
Ensure excellent customer service through staff operations and store upkeep
Follow cash handling procedures accurately
Maintain interior and exterior store cleanliness, safety, and aesthetics by completing daily shift checklists and monitoring inventory levels
Alert management to operational needs, equipment failures, and necessary improvements
Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety rules
Attend training sessions to increase coffee knowledge and work skills and apply that knowledge to operations
