Job Requirements
- Must be able to bend stoop lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular and continuous basis
- Must be able to stand and or walk for long periods of time and move from area to area in the kitchen
- Ability to tolerate a smoke-filled environment
- Ability to obtain a Food Handlers Permit
- Ability to obtain a Class II gaming license
- Pass NRWC pre-employment testing
Job Qualifications
- Six months guest service experience
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Passion for providing extraordinary service
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to obtain a Food Handlers Permit
- Pass NRWC pre-employment testing
- Ability to obtain a Class II gaming license
- One year guest service experience in the hospitality industry preferred
- Three months experience with a POS system preferred
- Six months Barista experience preferred
Job Duties
- Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact
- Accurately input all orders into the POS system answering guests' questions about products and services and providing recommendations based on guests needs
- Process guest orders ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- If applicable delivers food orders promptly
- Provide excellent guest service resolving any customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffees and beverages according to the Nisqually Grounds recipes and standards
