Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is desirable
Prior barista or server experience preferred
Ability to stand on feet for several hours
Ability to lift heavy objects
Availability to work opening, mid, and closing shifts
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Excellent phone etiquette

Job Qualifications

Strong customer service skills
Ability to memorize recipes and menu ingredients
Effective communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand on feet for several hours and lift heavy objects when necessary

Job Duties

Providing genuine and friendly customer service at all times
Cooperating with shift supervisors and back-of-house teammates and managers
Working various shifts including opening, mid, and closing shifts efficiently
Preparing and serving expertly crafted beverages such as lattes, frappes, and teas
Food running with attention to detail for accuracy and quality
Table bussing and maintaining cleanliness in the dining room and work areas
Taking orders using the Toast Point of Sale system
Answering phone calls with excellent phone etiquette
Memorizing beverage recipes and menu ingredients
Complying with food safety guidelines
Performing other front-of-house duties as assigned by the shift supervisor
