Job Requirements
- 18 years of age
- Proof of authorization to work in the United States
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively in English
- Must obtain and maintain any required card, certification, or license as required by law or policy
- Must possess a valid health card
- Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 25 pounds unassisted
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move frequently during a shift
- Ability to work indoors and tolerate various environmental factors including noise and dust
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure and meet deadlines
- Work well in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Take breaks on schedule
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in coffee preparation and knowledge of specialty coffee drinks as a barista
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a calm demeanor during high volume periods
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Report to assigned station in full uniform and adhere to company dress code
- Turn on the equipment and prepare the work area
- Deliver legendary customer service by greeting customers warmly and connecting with them
- Prepare specialty coffee drinks including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos following precise recipes
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of all coffee drinks prepared
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista and production area
- Clean and sanitize all equipment and work areas thoroughly
- Monitor and restock coffee supplies and equipment as needed
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain consistent and regular attendance
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures
- Follow all company rules and regulations
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the company
