Job Requirements
- One year of food service experience
- Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of hire
- Servsafe Certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work early morning and late evening shifts
- Availability for PRN (Per Diem or As Needed) scheduling
- Ability to comply with food safety and hygiene standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year of food service experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to operate cash register and handle payments
- Strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with food preparation and sanitation practices
- Basic knowledge of inventory management
Job Duties
- Complies with healthcare foodservice industry standards and regulations
- Prepares and serves meals according to menus and dietary guidelines
- Serves customers in coffee shop or retail food area
- Operates cash register and handles payments
- Assembles, delivers, and retrieves patient trays
- Prepares cold food items like sandwiches and salads
- Supports catering services including food delivery and pick-up
- Performs dishwashing and pot washing
- Cleans equipment and maintains work areas
- Ensures cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
- Stocks food and supply items in retail and service areas
- Assists with inventory checks and restocking as needed
