Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Passionate about coffee and have a strong work ethic
  • Ability to stand for 6 hours or more per shift
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions
  • Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel as needed
  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Use hand dexterity for writing, grabbing, pulling, twisting, shaking
  • Capable of cleaning and restocking work areas, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate with confidence, transparency, and integrity
  • Maintain a positive and pleasant attitude
  • Ability to listen and follow instructions, take critical feedback
  • Basic computer skills and ability to leverage technology
  • Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Availability for peak hours including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Food Handlers Card

Job Duties

  • Educate customers on BigFoot Java's beverage menus and take orders
  • Greet all customers as they arrive
  • Perform day-to-day operations of the coffee stand including employee duties posted for the shift
  • Keep the bar area and stand clean
  • Report any maintenance needs
  • Maintain quality control of products during shifts and customer interactions
  • Handle cash and operate POS system
  • Comply with health and safety regulations
  • Complete financial reporting per shift following company protocols
  • Work alone or with others to deliver quality and consistency to customers
  • Solve customer challenges through excellent service
  • Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
  • Participate respectfully with co-workers and management
  • Maintain positive staff morale
  • Ensure excellence in coffee preparation and customer experience
  • Stay knowledgeable about products
  • Consistently and efficiently prepare high-quality beverages
