Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food and beverage or coffee preparation preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and local language
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
  • Ability to deal with the public in a professional, courteous, and graceful manner
  • Ability to handle conflict situations professionally
  • Be well groomed and follow hotel's dress code

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food and beverage or coffee preparation preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Effectively operates hotel inlet, KC's Korner and always greet and welcome guests to the inlet
  • Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
  • Prepare and establish an adequate par for the set up
  • Pull all food needed for daily production and utilize all leftovers as per SOP and with direction from supervisor
  • Ensure all food is ready on time prior to opening
  • Remain in the work area at all times and plan the next day's work in event of completion for the day
  • Prep food for next day, clean work area and dining area, re-stock all amenities as needed, mop floor, wipe tables as needed
  • Maintain good housekeeping in entire prep area, walk-in freezers, walk-in boxes, and all reach-in refrigerators
  • Ensure all foods under refrigeration are properly identified, covered, and dated
  • Create menu selections by guests to brand specifications and guest requests promptly and efficiently
  • Solve guest issues promptly with first class service
  • Maintain food quality and service in accordance with standardized company recipes and procedures
  • Promote and maintain effective communications between department and culinary and F&B teams
  • Keep executive chef informed of all pertinent information regarding prep kitchen through supervisor
  • Regularly report all needed maintenance projects
  • Keep all production charts properly filled and use all charts as per SOP
  • Perform any other duties needed to help drive vision, fulfill mission, and abide by organization values
