Job Requirements

  • Some high school education or equivalent
  • ability to read and perform math
  • ability to read, speak and understand English
  • ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions
  • ability to interact with customers on a friendly basis
  • must be able to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays
  • must be able to work in any restaurant area as needed
  • ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale system or cash register
  • physical ability to bend, stand, walk and use hands repetitively during entire workday
  • ability to lift 10lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occasionally
  • ability to handle continuous exposure to food and cleaning chemicals
  • ability to handle exposure to extreme temperatures

Job Qualifications

  • experience working in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Greet customers and prepare their orders
  • use Point of Sale system or cash register to record orders and compute bills
  • collect payment and make change
  • prepare food neatly, accurately and promptly
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and explain to customers cheerfully
  • check prep area products and restock items to ensure sufficient supply
  • adhere to quality standards, formulas and portion controls
  • follow proper food handling, safety and sanitization standards including temperature and date checking and logging
  • perform general housekeeping and cleaning
  • maintain professional appearance and grooming standards
  • perform light paperwork duties as assigned
