Tierra Mia Coffee Company is a distinguished craft coffee roaster and cafe operator with locations across Northern and Southern California. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
ability to commit to 20-25 hours per week
flexibility to work weekdays and weekends
no prior coffee experience required as training is provided
must be able to stand for extended periods
positive and friendly demeanor
legal eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
willingness to learn and grow within the company
ability to work well in a team environment
energetic and responsible attitude
customer service experience preferred but not required
basic math skills for handling transactions
ability to follow health and safety regulations

Job Duties

Provide warm, respectful, friendly, attentive, and quick service to customers
create craft coffee drinks including pour-overs, espresso beverages, and ice blended drinks in the highest quality manner
maintain a clean and spotless work area at the bar, register areas, and throughout the store
work collaboratively with other baristas to create a positive Tierra Mia Coffee experience for customers and employees
enter orders into POS system and process transactions
serve pastries from pastry case following proper sanitation methods
adhere to company policies and standards to ensure a safe and sanitary workplace
