Job Requirements
- Previous barista experience or background in coffee industry preferred
- A passion for coffee is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic positive attitude
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling retail math and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in food service and preparation

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks teas and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Engage with customers warmly answering questions about menu items and making personalized recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and throughout the cafe
- Handle cash credit card transactions and cash handling procedures with accuracy using POS systems
- Assist in food handling food preparation and serving snacks or light meals as needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
