Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum age of 17
- physical abilities to stoop, reach, lift equipment and supplies
- ability to remain on feet for long periods
- ability to work additional or overtime shifts when required
- compliance with regulatory and organizational policies
- completion of mandatory education and health requirements within established timeframes
- consistent use of universal precautions and protective equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum 17 years of age
- previous customer service experience in food service preferred
- ability to learn quickly
- ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- ability to build relationships
- physical ability and stamina to perform essential functions including stooping, reaching, lifting equipment and supplies, and standing for long periods
Job Duties
- Preparing hot and cold beverages to serve
- serving packaged and prepared foods
- compiling routine food orders
- receiving and putting away deliveries
- cleaning and sanitation
- operation of computerized POS for transactions
- reacting politely and quickly to customer requests, queries, issues, and grievances
- accepting cash and credit card transactions correctly
- displaying deep knowledge of all menu options
- following all applicable health and safety rules
- supporting Starbucks culture, values, and goals
- working under duress while maintaining calm disposition
- keeping the business in good order and predicting customer demands
- cleaning, organizing, and stocking supplies and facility
