Job Requirements

  • Previous barista experience required
  • Knowledge of how brewing equipment operates
  • Serv Safe certification
  • Ability to bend twist squat reach crawl push pull and stand without limitation and for long periods of time
  • Ability to carry 50lbs on a consistent basis
  • Reading writing oral proficiency and basic math skills

  • Experience in handling cash transactions accurately
  • Ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare stock and maintain station continuously throughout the day
  • Greet guests determining their coffee interests and needs
  • Educate guests by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu and answering questions
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques along with serving pastries sandwiches and other food items
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
  • Use cash register accurate cash handling and payment processing
  • Work as a team with others train new team members and cross train in other departments
  • Complete weekly inventory and order list
  • Clean and maintain all equipment continuously
  • Perform any other tasks as requested by Operations Manager
