Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds
- Capability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods
- Strong communication skills including clear spoken language and telephone etiquette
- Ability to use POS systems such as MICROS

- High school diploma or equivalent certificate such as GED
- No prior related work experience required
- No supervisory experience required

Job Duties
- Perform opening and closing tasks such as organizing supplies and equipment, cleaning all equipment and work areas, locking doors
- Organize, stock and maintain work areas
- Enter orders into the cash register and obtain customer payments
- Take orders, enter them into the MICROS system and prepare food and coffee
- Ensure appliances such as coffee machines are turned on and off at appropriate times
- Clean tables and coffee cart areas
- Maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipment throughout the day
- Obtain necessary change for expected transaction levels
- Compute cash register at end of shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, deliver receipts and secure the cash register
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents or injuries
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional
- Maintain confidentiality of company information and protect company assets
- Support coworkers with dignity and respect
- Help the team achieve common goals
- Meet quality assurance expectations and standards
- Move, lift, transport, push, pull and place objects under 25 pounds without assistance
- Stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods or entire shift
- Read and visually verify information on various formats
- Inspect tools, equipment or machinery for defects
- Handle objects requiring fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination
- Reach above head and below knees including bending, twisting, dragging and stooping
- Navigate narrow, confined or elevated spaces
- Ascend and descend stairs or service ramps
- Greet and acknowledge guests according to company standards
- Speak clearly and professionally
- Answer telephone calls using proper etiquette
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
