Job Requirements
- Must have one year of customer service experience
- previous cash handling experience preferred
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
- ability to learn and maintain knowledge of coffee products and procedures
- ability to stand, walk for long periods
- ability to bend, stoop or kneel
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- ability to perform repetitive motions
Job Qualifications
- Must have one year of customer service experience
- preferred: has at least one year of experience working in a high-volume coffee shop
- preferred: previous cash handling experience
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
- ability to learn and maintain knowledge of certified coffee establishment products and procedures
Job Duties
- Provides exceptional customer service
- greets all guests with a smile and friendly disposition while taking food and beverage orders, answers questions about menu items and offers recommendations, calls guests by name and thanks them for their order before they leave
- Prepares and delivers quality beverages and food products consistently to all guests by adhering to recipe and presentation standards
- Operates a cash register and receives payment from guests, while following all brand, HMSHost customer service, and cash handling policies and procedures
- Keeps the store clean, stocked, organized
- decorates customer display areas so they are aesthetically pleasing and up to brand standards
- Follows operational policies and procedures, including those for health and safety and security
