Job Requirements

  • must be able to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English
  • basic math and computer skills
  • able to work a part-time schedule including evening shifts and every other weekend
  • able to perform multitasking duties in a fast-paced environment
  • comply with Corewell Health vaccine and drug-free workplace policies
  • able to maintain high safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • able to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English
  • possess basic math and computer skills
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous food service experience preferred
  • previous cash handling experience preferred

Job Duties

  • produce a wide variety of intricate beverage recipes according to standardized recipes
  • learn and retain beverage ingredients, measurements, and recipes
  • work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
  • multitask across duties including recipe production, cash handling, stocking, and sanitation
  • operate and clean specialized kitchen equipment, troubleshoot equipment issues and refer to leadership if necessary
  • identify ingredients or finished products that do not meet quality standards and correct issues
  • maintain safety and sanitation standards of the work area
  • prepare for semi-annual health department and regulatory inspections
  • create personalized customer experiences and demonstrate product knowledge
  • perform service recovery if products do not meet customer expectations
