Job Requirements
- Must have one year of customer service experience
- preferred has at least one year of experience working in a high-volume coffee shop
- preferred previous cash handling experience
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
- able to converse comfortably with customers
- must be able to learn and maintain knowledge of certified coffee establishment products and procedures
- requires the ability to bend, twist, walk and stand to perform normal job functions
- ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- can perform repetitive motions
- has the ability to bend, stoop or kneel
- must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
- use of hand dexterity for writing, grabbing, pulling, twisting, shaking
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provides exceptional customer service
- greets all guests with a smile and friendly disposition while taking food and beverage orders
- answers questions about menu items and offers recommendations
- calls guests by name and thanks them for their order before they leave
- prepares and delivers quality beverages and food products consistently by adhering to recipe and presentation standards
- operates a cash register and receives payment from guests while following all brand, HMSHost customer service, and cash handling policies and procedures
- keeps the store clean, stocked, organized
- decorates customer display areas so they are aesthetically pleasing and up to brand standards
- follows operational policies and procedures, including those for health and safety and security
